{day one} 30 days of thankfulness

Something happens when you commit yourself to writing everyday.

I've discovered that I have a lot to say. Some may like to read. Others, not so much. But either way, my fingers do the talking.

This month, I want to focus on all the things that I have to be thankful for. All the rich blessings in my life.

When my heart is in a position of gratitude, I find less to complain about. Less to grumble about. Less to worry about.

Today, I am most thankful for a Jesus who so lavishly and adoringly and abundantly loves me. My heart pours out my gratitude for His unending grace and mercy.

'Let me shout God’s name
with a praising song,
Let me tell his greatness
in a prayer of thanks.'
Psalm 69:30

What are you most thankful for on this first day of November?  Wanna join me in sharing a gratitude journal this month?  A heart of gratitude will change your attitude, I promise.

  1. I am thankful today that Courtney was called back to a 2nd interview with Clear Channel Communications in Columbia this week and they will be making a decision by tomorrow. Also thankful that she just got a call from FMU, and has an interview here next Wednesday. I cannot wait to see where God is leading/where he wants her to be...Columbia/Florence? I believe the outcomes of these interviews will shed some light on this question. Trusting and obeying, but gracious I am not the most patient at waiting on the Lord. It's not a secret, He knows it:)
