seventeen months and counting...

I have come to the realization that my baby girl is growing up.

I can no longer deny it. Nor can I deny her the right to fully embrace toddlerhood.

How quickly this time has passed.

Sweet Petite, you are a thriving, vibrant, vivacious toddler!

You are seventeen months old! Bubby said you would be two before we know it and I about had a panic attack.

Seriously.

You are wearing size 24 month clothes, a size 5 shoe and a size 6 diaper.

You have used the potty a few times upon request. You are so proud of yourself when you do. It may have something to do with the loud applause you receive. And the kisses you are showered with.

You can carry on a conversation with us. And you are quite the talker. You keep us in stitches with the things you say {and repeat}!

You love to color. With crayons. And sidewalk chalk. You have been known to taste the different colors. All the crayon are missing their tips and the chalk suspiciously has teeth marks. Ha!

You have discovered the freedom in ditching your diaper and running from the room. And when you run you like to hide. It's a fun little game we play!

You love bathtime, music, books and playing in your kitchen. You enjoy going to school and seeing your friends.

Harper, I wish I could put into words how much joy and happiness you bring to my life. I never knew how much I could love someone until you came I to my life. And that love grows deeper and deeper each and every day.
