A Tribute to my Mama

Jacqueline Hewitt Griggs is one of the most Godly women I know.  She is graceful and emotional and beautiful and dignified and elegant.  She is a woman who has faced many trials in life, but allowed those trials to bring her closer to the Lord.  She is a nurse--both at home and at work--who loves her patients unconditionally.  She is a Gigi who adores her grandchildren.  She is a mother who raised two daughters--one who is a wonderful mother, teacher, friend, and sister---and one who wants to be just like them.  She is a wife who has shown her daugthers the meaning of a loving, committed, Christian marriage.  She is a friend who always is thinking about her friends.  She is my mama!  I do not have the adequate words to articulate how much I love and respect my mama.   Just the sound of her voice can make the worst of days seem all better.  She has always been my biggest supporter.  Her encouraging words and Christian counsel have helped shape me into the woman I am today.  When I found out that I was expecting a little girl, I prayed that God would guide me to raise my daugther the way my mama raised my sister and me.  If Victor and Harper love me half as much as I love my mama, then I will be a blessed mama!

Allow me to introduce you to my mama...

 I love you mama!

Proverbs 31:2 "Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her."

Happy Mother's Day!
