Today, I am most thankful for my daughter's pediatrician.
A Christian woman, who is not afraid to share her faith and friendship with new mamas. A woman who understands what it means to be a worried mama, a proud mama, a tired mama, a scared mama. A woman who will take your concerns and pray for you. A woman who will allow you to pray for her.
When Tory and I were searching for a pediatrician, we knew the instant we met her that she was the one who we trusted to take care of our baby girl. She met us with calmness and understanding. She demonstrated patience and gentleness and kindness. She oozes the fruit of the Spirit. You can't help but taste the fruit when she enters the room.
We have been beyond blessed these past seventeen months with the peace of mind of knowing that our daughter's health is guided and protected by a woman who loves and serves the Lord. And a woman who loves her job and adores children.
Beyond blessed, I tell you. Beyond.
