five minute friday: see

On Fridays, we hook up with The Gypsy Mama for her challenge.

She says, "So, here’s the skinny: I’ve been thinking about writing and how often our perfectionism gets in the way of our words. And I figured, why not take 5 minutes and see what comes out: not a perfect post, not a profound post, just five minutes of focused writing."

"No extreme editing; no worrying about perfect grammar, font, or punctuation. Just painting with words. Finger-painting even."

"So now on Fridays over here a group of people who love to throw caution to the wind and just write gather to share what five minutes buys them. Just five minutes. Unscripted. Unedited. Real.
Your words. This shared feast."

It's fun.  Give it a try.

SEE.

Go.

I lose my breath when I catch a glimpse of God's perfect will playing out in the lives of those around me.

I find myself gasping for air under the sheer awesomeness of my Mighty Savior.

That happened this week.  Several times.

Dear friends of mine came face to face with their son from Korea.  They wrapped their arms around him and forever became a family.  I cried.  Many tears.

I have watched for months as God's plan for this family has unfolded.  And their testimony has spoken to my heart in ways I will never be able to articulate.

Tomorrow, I will sneek a peek at the cuteness that I call their son.

But I have seen God's hand in this story the entire time.  I look forward to watching as God continues to work in their lives.

"Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see—
         how good God is.
Blessed are you who run to him."
Psalm 34:8 (MSG)
