{day four} little people

When the longing of your heart is fulfilled, you can't help but offer up your praises each and every day.

I had dreamed of being a mama since I was a little girl.

My Jesus has blessed me and done it in abundance.

There are children all around me that I get to love.

My three nieces. My nephew. My sweet Claire and Jax.

And then as if that weren't enough, He gave me Victor and Harper.

My heart overflows for these two who I have been entrusted with. And I take my responsibility very seriously.

Each day, I seek the Lord's guidance on how to lead them to Him.

That is my job. That is why they were given to me. To lead them to the Cross. Where His love pours out.

I do that by seeking Him. By leading by example. I may fail miserably. But He loves me enough to trust me with their hearts.

Tiny little hearts that I hold so dear.

I will get a whole lot wrong in this life. But if the children that have been entrusted to my care see Jesus in me and they learn of His love and grace and mercy, then I've done my job. And done it well.

I am beyond blessed by these children. My children. And I pray I train them up in the way they should go.

'Children are a gift from The Lord,
they are a reward from him.'
